Seaford Lions team with Massapequa Lions to send a diabetic child to Diabetes Camp. 15th Seaford Lion President Christine Paulson presented a check for $2,500 to Massapequa Lions President Linda Ruggerio in June. These funds will be used to send a needy 8 year old girl to Camp Jacobsen to learn more about diabetes and managing it in her life. Lions Club International's goal is to eliminate blindness. A large cause of blindness in America is diabetes. Both Seaford and Massapequa Lions participate in programs to better educate their communities about this disease.
