Greetings Fellow Lions:
       April is here and with it our District enters the last quarter of our Lionistic year.
The District has maintained its membership numbers. Now is the time to advance our membership. We are on the verge of obtaining our goal of 1300 members. Keep up the great work on making our District even stronger in membership numbers.
Many clubs are utilizing our District's website to everyone's benefit. Please review our club and District events on our Website.
April 11th is our final Open District meeting at 6:30pm at Baldinos at the Plainview Marriot Residence Inn. Please forward youe $35 check to CT Rosemarie.
April 25th is our final MERL meeting at 6:30pm at the Nassau County Bar Association. Please join us as we rally for our Spring Membership Drive.
Saturday, April 16th at 9am is our District's Strides Walk on the Long Beach boardwalk(at Riverside Drive)
Bring your family and friends for a wonderful sojourn in support of our Diabetes Education Board.        
Our Multiple District State Convention in Rochester is scheduled for April 29-May 1. Its a wonderful opportunity to meet Lions from our Multiple and to welcome our future District leaders-Stephen Dean, Sharon Moskowitz and Linda Ruggerio.
Finally, please mark your calendars for Saturday evening, June 11th for our District's Awards & Testimonial Dinner at the Nassau County Bar Association. Please consider participating in our Journal. Journal ad requests will be mailed shortly. Formal invitations shall follow.
I look forward to these wonderful events together and advancing our District and our quest to Service.
