Greetings Fellow Lions:
The month of November has come and gone and the holiday season of the month of December is upon us!
November commenced with a wonderful sojourn to the beautiful island-nation of Bermuda upon the occasion of my official visitation. Our fellow District Lions in Bermuda were gracious hosts. 1st VDG Stephen Dean and his wife Donna treated  Kathie and I as true friends and for that I will always be grateful.
Bermuda Zone Chair Faith Gilkes conducted her Lion responsibilities in pure Lions' fashion. Congratulations to ZC Faith and all the dedicated Lions of Bermuda. Their Service to their community is an honored tradition in Bermuda.
November also saw our 2nd Open District Meeting where many of our club and District projects were discussed to much applause.
Also, as part of my District Governor duties, I have visited several clubs during November. Clubs are adding members and participating in Service projects throughout our communities. Congratulations to all those clubs who have retained members, added new members and served those in need.
November also saw certain District projects taking form. We held a Quest meeting with members of District S and an LCI representative; we held a Strides meeting to plan for the April 16th Strides Walk for Diabetes Awareness; and, we have participated in LCI's Peace Poster Contest!
A lot of work, a lot of Pride and a lot of Service projects !
Now, December brings a time for reflection and celebration of our spirit.
As we gather with our friends and families during the next few weeks be reminded that your Lions Service should also be celebrated !
Our motto of "We Serve" is our pledge to aid the weak and right the wrong. Let us never waver in that goal! With "Liberty Through Service" our pledge will triumph!
Happy Holidays and may all of us remember our nation's armed forces as well as those Lions who may be ill or recovering at this time.
   Yours in Lionism,
DG Ed Lieberman
