Fellow Lions:
           Another month has come and gone!
           The month of August was a time for our District to rejoice as we held our Summer Social and inducted our Officers.  Several of our outstanding Lions were honored by Nassau County for their commitment to Service. Congratulations to one and all!
      We also held our 1st voting Cabinet meeting and commenced our District's administration agenda.
            Let us all celebrate our dedication to Service through club activities and community service projects as we ROAR into full swing in the month of September.
            Please mark your calendar for Monday, September 13th at 6:30pm @ Baldino's (located in the Plainview Marriott) for our 1st Open District Meeting. The cost is $25. pp.
           Among the agenda items will be a very important presentation concerning a state-wide redistricting proposal. Please make all efforts to attend!
             Finally, September also represents the time when our clubs focus on Membership. We must strive to retain our members and seek new members. Remember, if you promote Service and ask your friends, family members and community business leaders to join Lions our numbers and PRIDE will grow!
