THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S OFFICIAL VISITATION

  The District Governor respectfully requests that each President become acquainted with the following procedures in order to make his official visitation orderly and proper.

 1) Keep your Club’s calendar open for the date established for the official visitation.

 2) Your Club’s secretary should contact C.S. Fred Rieger a week prior to the official visitation date to confirm the date, time and location of club meeting.

 3) Please do not schedule any other guest speaker or presentation at the official visitation.

 4) The District Governor encourages you to conduct your regular meeting and agenda during his official visitation.

 5) The District Governor will be honored to induct your club’s new members at his official visitation, and present awards to your club members.

 6) After greeting the District Governor, and any other District Officer accompanying him, please escort the District Governor and his guest to their seats.

 7) It is customary that the meal of the Governor be paid for by the Club during his or her official visitation and at any other function to which an invitation is issued during the year.  It is optional that meals of other members of the Governor’s party be paid for.
