SEAFORD LIONS MONTH AT LIBRARY
The Seaford Public Library has named April “Seaford Lions Month” in recognition of the Club’s long established service to the community. The library has provided a large display case in the lobby entrance area for the Lions to showcase items of memorabilia outlining numerous service projects over the past 57 years. The Seaford Lions are proud of their long established relationship with the library and recognize the library’s key role in the community. Library Trustee President, Peter J. Ruffner, thanked the Lions for their continued support of many library related projects and programs such as the outdoor benches, table and planter at the front of the building and funding for children's activities and concerts. The Seaford Lions Club has also benefited from the library as a place for displaying their Past President’s plaque and maintaining a used eyeglass/used cell phone collection box. As part of the largest service organization in the world, Lions Clubs International, the Seaford Club, chartered in 1952, is the oldest service club in continuous active support of many community needs. Please contact us at SEAFORDLIONS@AOL.COM or call 516-785-0067 and be sure to visit our web site WWW.SEAFORDLIONS.ORG.
