| Nurturing
New Clubs |
One
of the greatest challenges we face as Lions is
ensuring that our clubs, the backbone of our
association, continue to flourish. Nurturing
New Clubs, a PowerPoint presentation that
you can access in the Leadership Resource Center on
the LCI website, focuses on an important part of
that challenge - supporting our new clubs so that
they grow, thrive, and contribute to our worldwide
efforts.
This presentation is recommended for
anyone who is concerned about new clubs.
Zone and region chairs, club officers,
guiding Lions and certified guiding Lions, and any
Lion who wishes to be actively involved in the
future of his or her club can benefit from the
ideas, strategies, and resources in this
presentation.

Renewed Enthusiasm for Service |
Is
everyone in your club excited about the projects
in which they participate? If not, consider having
all club members complete a Skills
and Interest Form. Then,
use the information on this form to match Lions to
projects that they are most likely to enjoy. After
matching Lions with their skills and interest, your
club should begin to see an increase in members'
satisfaction and involvement.
