Earlier this month, I sent you an email encouraging you to watch CNN Heroes:  An All-Star Tribute.  The program will air Thursday, November 27^th, 2008.

 

I had the distinct pleasure of attending the taping of the program last weekend in Los Angeles.  It truly is an all-star tribute, and a program the entire family will enjoy.  I was joined in Los Angeles by several other leaders of international civic and relief organizations, as well as executives from CNN.  

 

Some of you may have had the impression that I would be interviewed for the program.  I was not.  However, earlier this month my comments were included in an article that appeared on the CNN web site.  A link to the article is provided below for your convenience.
