| It was a busy weekend for Lions in Long Beach. At the 10-mile race on Sunday, Pres. Bob Carroll presented trophies to the 1st-place male and 1st-place female finishers, shown in the first picture is below. The second picture from that day shows Bob with Treasurer Marc Brodsky and the Kaplan family, in whose honor the race is named. Then today, the Lions looked great for the Memorial Day Parade in town. Also below are some pictures of the group and the float. The last two pictures show Rabbi Herman and the group for a prayer at Lions Plaza and then Bob with Bill Kurrus, President of the Rockville Centre Lions, who marched with us. We had a terrific brunch/luncheon at Billy's after.
