20 K2 Past District Governor, Dr. Shamir Ally and wife Dr. Maryann donated 813 textbooks to University of Guyana, Library

 

Guyana Chronicle Newspapers article shows PDG Dr. Shamir Ally, handing over 355 Accounting, Finance, Management, and Economics  textbooks to University of Guyana Library, valuing US $35,500.

During 2008, PDG Dr. Ally, donated 237 textbooks, to UG Library, valuing US $10,634:

 

To date, PDG Dr. Ally and wife Dr. Maryann Beebe, have donated 813 textbooks, valuing US $59,934: ($12 million Guyana Dollars).

 

 

The Allys' are huge supporters to education in their belief that " Education is Pivotal", and " Education is ONE of the KEY DRIVERS to SUCCESS for Individuals and a Nation as a whole."

 

University of Guyana and the People of Guyana , are highly appreciative of this huge contribution to education.
