TJ's Holiday Message

District Governor Tejinder (TJ) S. Anand welcomes you to the Lions International District 20 K2 website. The site contains important and useful information about District 20K2 and many of the projects and activities in which our dedicated Lions are involve.

Lions of District 20K2 are part of Lions Club International, a network of volunteers who work together to answer the needs that challenges communities in Nassau County (Long Island,NY), Bermuda Island and around the world. District 20K2 comprises of over 1,400 Lions, men and women along with Leos’s (High School Students) who work in their communities.

Lions Club International is the largest services organization in the world. A network of 1.3 million men and women in 207 countries who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. They are known for working to end preventable blindness. Lions participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from Diabietes Education Center, Diabetes Camp for Children, Long Island Eye Bank which harvest corneas for transplant, Lions Quest-empowers and supports the educational resources and other.

 Lions motto is “WE SERVE” by supporting the Lions Clubs of our District and their efforts to help answer their local communities challenges. With our proud heritage, we increase our efforts to gain membership. JOIN our hands and support your community, together we fulfill our motto, “WE SERVE”
